The Makita JR001GD203 40v Max XGT brushless reciprocating saw is part of the new XGT range of tools from Makita which combine innovative tool design and high output batteries to provide a genuine solution for high demand industrial users.
The JR001GD203 is powered by a 40v brushless DC motor which maximises battery runtime and requires no maintenance. A two-speed electronic gearbox (Low 0 - 2,300spm and High 0 - 3,000spm) plus variable speed trigger allow for fast and precise sawing of most materials and constant speed control increases the power to the motor when under load.
Tool-less blade change is quick and easy and a special ejector mechanism expels blades without having to touch them which is particularly handy if a hot blade is in the clamp. Other features include a tool-less adjustable shoe with swivel hinge, electric brake and a rubber sleeve on the front end to reduce friction heat.
