Designed with users in mind to offer cordless mowing with ease, the Makita DLM462Z is powered by twin 18v LXT batteries (not included). With a powerful motor which is brushless to offer a long life with minimal maintenance requirements. With a self propelled drive, the DLM462 will drive itself around the lawn with your guidance. Self propelled drive can be switched off to conserve battery power.

Offering a 46cm cutting width on the durable steel deck, the mower features 4 wheels with built in ball bearings for a smooth drive. The robust grass box has a capacity of 60 litre with a indicator to show when it is full and requires emptying. If you'd prefer not to have to empty the grass box, the DLM462 mower offers mulching mower. When mulch option is selected, the grass clippings are sent around the deck and chopped up finely by the blade and them drooped back into the lawn. This acts as a natural fertilizer for your grass and provides nutrients to give you a gorgeous carpet like lawn.

Cordless mowing offers quiet operation, which is ideal for use within residential areas. The DLM462 is ideal for lawn sizes up to 1,900m² and has the capability to hold four LXT batteries, it uses two for power and when they run flat you can switch over to the other two batteries.

Cutting height can be adjusted to 10 different levels from 20mm to 100mm by a single lever. Height adjustment on the handles is available to 2 settings for optimal comfort.
